I was born and raised here in Greater Sudbury, and couldn’t imagine a better community to raise a family. My wife Tiffany and I, have one son named Izaak, and a dog named Teddy – he really looks like a teddy bear! When not at the office, I enjoy pretty much anything and everything outdoors – fishing, canoeing, camping, mushroom hunting, mountain biking and hiking. I graduated from Laurentian University with a bachelor of science back in 2004, and at that time became interested in alternative healthcare. After several years of schooling, I started up and managed several successful alternative healthcare clinics ranging geographically from Sault Ste. Marie, to Ottawa. My wife and I made the move to Toronto for her schooling, and we had a son on the way. I decided to change professions to be closer to family and be the best husband and father I could be. I attended dental school at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry, and graduated in 2019. Joining Hanson Family Dentistry has been an amazing experience, and am so happy to be part of this team. All the staff, and dentists really work well together, and I feel privileged to be a member of such a great group of people all dedicated to improving oral health.
I’m also active in the Greater Sudbury dental community. I have served as Treasurer, Vice President and currently am President of the Sudbury and District Dental Society. One main focus at the local level is how we can provide caring, efficient and practical emergency dental services for the wonderful members of our community. Working with other local dentists to achieve this goal, among others is incredibly rewarding.
Looking forward to seeing you for your next check up!
